Welcome to Aeternas' AU Workshop! We're thrilled to have you here! On this post, players are encouraged to make connections and build their AUs together. While there is a cap of one character per player, you are allowed to workshop multiple characters and enable each other. For plot related reasons, all characters will be starting out in Mondstadt, this will be updated as the story progresses. For any extra information, you can check out the premise, locations, and power pages for a better understanding of the setting. As of now, only Mondstadt has a detailed description of locations- but you can assume that the businesses and other relevant locations in each nation is still there within the city (like Wanmin Restaurant for example, as this AU is modeled heavily after OU Teyvat.) These will be detailed later as we get further through the story, when characters finally travel to these nations.

Once an AU has been chosen, please create an information page with all the relevant AU info for your character along with permissions (or a link to an existing permissions post) on your journal. This will be asked for on the Taken page for a quick reference to your character's AU info. When you've finally decided on your AU, please comment to the Taken page so we can add you to the roster!

Please comment to the post with the form below and plot away! This post will remain permanent, so any new players that join after the initial opening are still welcome to use this. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the mod comment here!

Nation: Please state which of the currently released nations (Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine) your character is from!
Element: Out of the six elements (Anemo, Geo, Electro, Dendro, Hydro, Pyro, and Cryo) Select the one you want your character to be aligned with. You do not have to pick their canon element, feel free to switch if you wish! For more information on powers, please refer to the page here.
Constellation Location: Where your character's constellation will be! It can be located on any part of the body.
Weapon: Your character's starting weapon of choice! It's not limited to the five main weapons in Genshin, so feel free to get creative. If you're not sure, don't sweat it! Just put TBD. For more information on weapons, please refer to the page here.
AU Occupation: Describe what they do for a living! Your character's career path can be anything from a student, freelancer, in charge of their own business, etc. Please note that if you want to make your character famous (example: idol, singer, actor, etc) or be involved with/the head of a powerful organization within the world, let the head mod know. This is something that could potentially be incorporated into the story!

About: This is where you write a basic rundown of your character's AU. Feel free to talk about their backstory, any interesting facts about them, how they are different from their canon incarnation, what brought them to Mondstadt, anything you feel is relevant!

Weapon: Still deciding on this one but I'm leaning towards her voice ala a songstress so she can use the power of MUSIC to crush her foes. And eventually, I would like her to pick up the bow and possibly the sword later on the the line.

About:

☆ Born and raised in the outskirts of Hanamizaka, Inazuma as an only child by her two loving parents. Lived a happy, normal life out in the countryside.

☆ Her parents own Naganohara Fireworks, a fireworks shop that's been in her family for generations. While the shop is fairly known throughout Inazuma, fireworks aren't a hot commodity that people buy all the time, her family is more in it for their passion for fireworks rather than the money. The Naganoharas weren't the most well-off family but they were happy doing what they love.

☆ A cheerful, friendly girl who gets along with everyone, always happy to chat the ears off of anyone willing to listen. Yoimiya has always loved taking care of people, especially children and the elderly. Even from her childhood, she's always maintained her bright, sunny disposition.

☆ Because of her natural charisma, Yoimiya eventually earned herself a decent following on social media. It started with her wanting to be a fashion influencer for fun. And then when people showed genuine interest in her life, she upgraded to posting silly vlogs until eventually, she sang a cover on a whim that became a buzz on social media. As a result of trending, a talent agency reached out to her but at the time, training to become an idol didn't sound like an appealing career path since it would make her less available for the fireworks shop.

☆ But then it all changed when her dad got into an accident involving fireworks. Her dad was the only one near the scene and thankfully, managed to escape without any serious injuries but as a result of being too close to the loud explosion, he lost part of his hearing.

☆ Determined to help her father with his medical expenses, Yoimiya decided to take up the scout's offer and train to become an idol. Throughout high school, she went through a lot of rigorous vocal and dance training under her talent agency. All her hard work eventually paid off and shortly after graduating high school at the age of 18, she started her career as an idol. She's amassed fans from all over Teyvat due to her bright, bubbly personality and her explosive shows. Her number one goal is to bring smiles to everyone across Teyvat with her music.

☆ She enjoys her career but even fame and riches won't ever pull her heart away from Naganohara Fireworks. Even when she's out traveling for tours, she always tries her best to make time to help her parents at their fireworks shop. Because of her rising fame, Naganohara Fireworks has been booming with business! The shop has become a popular tourist destination even when Yoimiya isn't in town.

☆ During her downtime, Yoimiya likes to help out at orphanages and host charity drives.

☆ Have you heard about our lord and savior Yoimiya's pet goldfish, Hanabi? She loves her darling pet so much and will go on and on and on about best fish. She always posts a new picture of her on Teyvat's version of Instagram. By extension of Yoimiya's popularity, Hanabi has also become famous..

☆ Currently taking a mini-break from idol activities to vacation in Mondstadt!
